Code of Conduct - Rules you should read   02/25/2017

      In General
Be respectful! There's another person on the other end of that conversation! The forums are a place to discuss anything related to Overwolf and beyond but want this to be a place where people feel comfortable to participate and have fun! Keep it on topic, keep it constructive - Threads should be constructive and have a clear topic. Replies to that topic should be relevant. Bumping a thread without adding relevant information is not considered constructive. Bumping a thread from a long time ago is also not constructive (Overwolf updates every 2 weeks, things change). Attacks or Accusations are not acceptable - Attacking another person is unacceptable, the circumstances are irrelevant, just don't do it. Read the topic - Know what people are talking about in the thread. Stick to the given topic and don't derail it. Search - We have a great search function, use it before you post a new thread as it's possible someone has asked your question before and there's info on it. Don't see something about your question or topic after searching? Post it! (keep in mind that bumping threads from a long time ago is not recommended, post your own). Don't post about locked or deleted topics; they were deleted for a reason. No petitions, demands or "When will.." We have places for asking for games, features and we will tell you when something is coming. We don't give dates for a reason. Don't try getting around the swear filter, it's not cute or funny. This is not a place to break NDA's, talk about something illegal or break any law from any country. We will contact the necessary parties involved and you will be pursued to the extent of the law. No spam. You will be banned and your post deleted. Please write in English. This is an international forum and we'd like everyone to be able to participate.
Bad Behavior Insults, racial slurs, profanity, vulgarity. Trolling - You know who you are, and we will find you. Nudity, porn or anything obscene. Flaming - We don't have a trained fireman on staff, so don't do it. No advertising - No one wants to buy that shirt off of you, or that WoW gold. No insulting any religion (fake, real, or imagined), sexual orientation, gender or culture. No talking about drugs or performing illegal activities. Impersonation - Don't do it, people find out and you end up looking stupid.
What will we do if you break a rule? Warnings - You get only one. Thread/Post deletion - We delete your thread/post from the forums. Suspension - Temporary forum ban. Account termination - Permanent forum ban. Legal action or report violations to the appropriate legal authorities.

  1. @Gerald, thanks for the update, they said that the changes they made might take a week to fully affect all games. Let's wait this week and see if there's any improvement, if not I will message them about it again
  2. Hey @Novio ! Thank you for contacting us, We have a fix for this issue by now, it will soon be released to the public. Right now you can work around it if you wish, by re-installing Overwolf using this installer.
  3. Hey @rbimas37! Thank you for reaching out to us, This dll file belongs to the Windows OS and Overwolf won't be able to work properly with this file missing on your system. I found this page on Microsoft's website , please check it out. I'm afraid since this is not a file created by Overwolf I won't be able to do much more, you need to fix this on your PC.
  4. Hey @Gerald ! We got a new email from EasyAntiCheat concerning this issue, saying they tried to fix it. Can you please tell me if you noticed any change in iRacing?
  5. Greetings gamers! It took a while, but here it is - no more double cursor on PayDay2 when using Overwolf! I'm adding a gamelist file to this post and I'll explain how to use it for now. Once our devs release a new Overwolf version to the public, this fix will be implemented To use the game list just follow these 5 simple steps: Press the windows key + R Type in: %localappdata%/Overwolf and hit enter Locate the GamesList.xml file and replace it with the one you got from us Usually, you'll need to extract it first so make sure you have winzip/winrar/7zip/other compressing tool installed on your PC. Restart Overwolf Start Overwolf and start the game Follow this Gif-guide: https://gfycat.com/GlisteningZealousKouprey Any feedback will be appreciated on this topic so please let us know if this fixed the issue for you! GamesList.8963052Payday2Fix.xml.7z
  6. Hey there @Djani555 ! Sorry for the late response, Please check out our supported games list, if the game you're playing is not on this list then it won't work for you. One more thing, I noticed you're running Razer Synapse with their data tracking feature, it prevents Overwolf from showing in games. Please check out this article on our knowledge base for further information. @Giminni, hi Please also check out the instructions above.
  7. Hey @Red Apple! Thank you for reaching out, Do you experience any sudden shut downs / crashes with your PC?
  8. Hey @wholu, There are currently some connection issues, please follow our Twitter to stay updated! Sorry for the inconvenience
  9. Hey @GuernseyGaming, Thank you for reaching out to us There are issues with Rocket League's API so the app can't track the statistics, there's a red message written by the app's developer when you launch the app. As soon as they fix the API issue, the app will go back to functioning properly and the message will be gone.
  10. I want to try debugging your issue via Teamviewer (You can download it here), can we try and remote desktop your computer together? Look me up on skype: LEOkonami. Please add your forum thread link when you send your contact request.
  11. Hey @Jweinz Thank you for reaching out, Steam overlay and Overwolf can co exist in game but you can only hotkey one at a time. For example, if you click ctrl+tab mid game in CS:GO the Overwolf dock will pop on your screen - while it's active, you can't use your Steam overlay. Once the Overwolf dock is "folded back" (clicking ctrl+tab again) the Steam overlay will work again. This is how Steam and Overwolf co-exists in Steam games where your mouse cursor is available on menus but it's your camera/aim when you start a match (it's like that mostly in shooter games, such as CS:GO, Overwatch, etc).
  12. Hey again @TonyStav, The exact file you need is this - please give it a try (clicking the link with automatically download what you need) and let me know whether it helped you out.
  13. Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing Overwolf? Let us do a clean sweep and re-install Overwolf. First, head to your control panel to uninstall Overwolf. Once you finish uninstalling it, head to C:\Program Files (x86) and see if you have an Overwolf folder (you shouldn't), and proceed to do the following: Use the Windows search (press the Windows key + R). In the "Search" bar type: %localappdata% and hit OK. Delete the Overwolf folder. Then use this direct Overwolf download. Once you download that installer, follow these instructions to create a shortcut for Overwolf on your desktop: Use the Windows search (press the Windows key + R) Enter C :\Program Files (x86)\Overwolf and press enter. Right click on the OverwolfLauncher.exe and create a shortcut to put on your desktop. Please let me know if you need any further assistance!
  14. Hey @Toshiaki Thank you for reaching out to us, I'm not sure what plugin are you talking about, can you please elaborate and maybe add a screenshot of the issue you're experiencing?
  15. Hey @TonyStav, Thank you for reaching out to us, I checked your logs and your issue seems to be related to your Windows version missing critical DLL file. Please check out this article on our knowledge base and follow the instructions in it. Let me know whether this helped you out,
