Code of Conduct - Rules you should read   02/25/2017

      In General
Be respectful! There's another person on the other end of that conversation! The forums are a place to discuss anything related to Overwolf and beyond but want this to be a place where people feel comfortable to participate and have fun! Keep it on topic, keep it constructive - Threads should be constructive and have a clear topic. Replies to that topic should be relevant. Bumping a thread without adding relevant information is not considered constructive. Bumping a thread from a long time ago is also not constructive (Overwolf updates every 2 weeks, things change). Attacks or Accusations are not acceptable - Attacking another person is unacceptable, the circumstances are irrelevant, just don't do it. Read the topic - Know what people are talking about in the thread. Stick to the given topic and don't derail it. Search - We have a great search function, use it before you post a new thread as it's possible someone has asked your question before and there's info on it. Don't see something about your question or topic after searching? Post it! (keep in mind that bumping threads from a long time ago is not recommended, post your own). Don't post about locked or deleted topics; they were deleted for a reason. No petitions, demands or "When will.." We have places for asking for games, features and we will tell you when something is coming. We don't give dates for a reason. Don't try getting around the swear filter, it's not cute or funny. This is not a place to break NDA's, talk about something illegal or break any law from any country. We will contact the necessary parties involved and you will be pursued to the extent of the law. No spam. You will be banned and your post deleted. Please write in English. This is an international forum and we'd like everyone to be able to participate.
Bad Behavior Insults, racial slurs, profanity, vulgarity. Trolling - You know who you are, and we will find you. Nudity, porn or anything obscene. Flaming - We don't have a trained fireman on staff, so don't do it. No advertising - No one wants to buy that shirt off of you, or that WoW gold. No insulting any religion (fake, real, or imagined), sexual orientation, gender or culture. No talking about drugs or performing illegal activities. Impersonation - Don't do it, people find out and you end up looking stupid.
What will we do if you break a rule? Warnings - You get only one. Thread/Post deletion - We delete your thread/post from the forums. Suspension - Temporary forum ban. Account termination - Permanent forum ban. Legal action or report violations to the appropriate legal authorities.

  1. Twitch App

Hiya, I'll go post them over there. Thanks for the heads up. - Kismet
  2. Twitch App: Unable to connect Twitch Chat

Hiya, I sure can send those logs. I sent an email to support@overwolf.com with the other info requested on the how to send your logs page. Can't wait to have it working every streaming session, such a great feature! Also a little Update 8-3-14: (i've included this in email as well) 1) Last night around 10pm EST - Twitch App Chat started working again, stayed working for couple hours. 2) Tried again this morning, "Unable to connect to Twitch Chat" again. - Kismet
  3. Hi all, So Annoyed right now, was so enjoying Overwolf again (Just re-installed it after months of not using it) and then bam, Twitch App Chat stops working! Spent the last 2-3 hours trying to get my Twitch App Chat working again in Overwolf. Keeps giving me the error "Unable to connect to Twitch Chat. Retry to connect" It worked the first time I installed Overwolf & the Twitch app. Used it for awhile, then restarted my machine, after that was not able to reconnect / see Twitch chat as an overlay via Overwolf. i can stream with no problem, just not see the chat. Which is the whole reason i'm using it. Tried: 1) Searching everywhere for solution on google / forums: fail 2) Restart/Shut down, etc... :Chat fail doesn't load 3) Sign out & Back in Twitch App: chat Fail 4) Remove Twitch App from Overwolf app store & reload: Chat fail 5) Tried on my other twitch account: Chat fail 6) Uninstalled Overwolf & re-installed (Both main program & Twitch App): Chat fail So bummed was really enjoying it again, burned a good portion of my Saturday trying to get it going. Hope someone can give me some further things to try. Thanks, - Kismet
  4. Twitch App

Holy Smokes! Awesome job on the Twitch App. I was looking for a way to see my Twitch chat in game so I don't miss chats. In the past my team was using Overwoolf with TS3, but was crashing my members & my machines. Thought i'd give it another go today and glad I did! Works great. Some suggestions for Twitch App: 1) "Push to talk" / Mute on Mic (and game sounds if possible). I don't like the mic live all the time. Note: Maybe a Microphone icon on the Twitch bar I can click to mute? 2) Border/Overlay's like in OBS. i.e. I have a border that goes around the outside that says our team name, Website & Server. This way I don't have to answer those questions over & over. Check my example at: http://www.twitch.tv/kismet_ringofdestiny 3) Follow/Donation/Sub Alerts: I have been looking around & tried "NightDev" & "TwitchAlerts". Leaning a bit more toward TwitchAlerts as its animated alerts. i.e. I have my char in GW2 salute people who follow. 4) Chat alert & other features: I've been trying a program called "Chatty" which alerts me when people type in chat, among tons of other features. My channel is still small so having a sound helps, though this would get very annoying in a large channel. So option to adjust when it alerts. 5) Viewer Counter: Add an option to also see Who is watching the stream and a limiter for larger streamers. Show 10/30/50/100/customer number, viewers. Also my suggestion how to get these features: Buy out / Offer to collaborate (Maybe for the 10k prize) the people at NightDev, Chatty & TwichAlerts. Some links to help: NightDev: https://www.nightdev.com/followalert/ TwitchAlerts: http://twitchalerts.com/ Chatty OBS Page: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/chatty.62/ Also note i'm no way connected to any of these products. Just throwing in some suggestions to make the Overwolf Twitch app a one stop shop for all the things Streamers need. Thanks again for the hard work, looking great so far! - Kismet Leader, Ring of Destiny Homepage: http://www.kismetbp.com Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/kismet_ringofdestiny
  5. Hi all, Recently installed Overwolf, which my team & I are enjoying. Great overlays and features. One thing I can't seem to find though, is how to disable the web browser. I don't want it to overide/intercept links I click on in game or on start page of game. I want it to go to my prefered broswer aka not Overwolfs browser. Searched around for awhile for it, couldn't find a way. How do I disable it or at least set it to go back to my default browser when I click links in game or at the load page of the game? This is happening from GuildWars 2 load / start page. Suggestion: Seperate Section in Preferences for Web Browser controls. Thanks, - Kismet
