Code of Conduct - Rules you should read   02/25/2017

      In General
Be respectful! There's another person on the other end of that conversation! The forums are a place to discuss anything related to Overwolf and beyond but want this to be a place where people feel comfortable to participate and have fun! Keep it on topic, keep it constructive - Threads should be constructive and have a clear topic. Replies to that topic should be relevant. Bumping a thread without adding relevant information is not considered constructive. Bumping a thread from a long time ago is also not constructive (Overwolf updates every 2 weeks, things change). Attacks or Accusations are not acceptable - Attacking another person is unacceptable, the circumstances are irrelevant, just don't do it. Read the topic - Know what people are talking about in the thread. Stick to the given topic and don't derail it. Search - We have a great search function, use it before you post a new thread as it's possible someone has asked your question before and there's info on it. Don't see something about your question or topic after searching? Post it! (keep in mind that bumping threads from a long time ago is not recommended, post your own). Don't post about locked or deleted topics; they were deleted for a reason. No petitions, demands or "When will.." We have places for asking for games, features and we will tell you when something is coming. We don't give dates for a reason. Don't try getting around the swear filter, it's not cute or funny. This is not a place to break NDA's, talk about something illegal or break any law from any country. We will contact the necessary parties involved and you will be pursued to the extent of the law. No spam. You will be banned and your post deleted. Please write in English. This is an international forum and we'd like everyone to be able to participate.
Bad Behavior Insults, racial slurs, profanity, vulgarity. Trolling - You know who you are, and we will find you. Nudity, porn or anything obscene. Flaming - We don't have a trained fireman on staff, so don't do it. No advertising - No one wants to buy that shirt off of you, or that WoW gold. No insulting any religion (fake, real, or imagined), sexual orientation, gender or culture. No talking about drugs or performing illegal activities. Impersonation - Don't do it, people find out and you end up looking stupid.
What will we do if you break a rule? Warnings - You get only one. Thread/Post deletion - We delete your thread/post from the forums. Suspension - Temporary forum ban. Account termination - Permanent forum ban. Legal action or report violations to the appropriate legal authorities.

  1. Raptr is Closing Down and Users are looking to move to alternatives now. I and many others on the Raptr Community have until 30 September to download GamePlay Data and get off Raptr. I performed and in depth review of what Gaming Apps are available. I have advised other Raptr Users on the AMD Community (89,729,123 Members apparently ... ) that the following Apps are the only viable alternative at present. 1. Razer Cortex. 2. Overwolf. More information here. http://about.raptr.com/goodbye-raptr/ I have Posted here: http://raptr.com/colesdav/news/59af77ce6314f6a751/raptr-shutdown-30-sept-2017- Here: http://raptr.com/colesdav/news/59b3574161344b92ff/-questions-from-raptr-users-migrating-to-overwolf- Here: http://raptr.com/colesdav/news/59b359913359f0b80b/-questions-from-raptr-users-migrating-to-razer-cortex- Raptr are currently allowing existing Raptr Users to download a file called my_playtime.json which contains their gaming data. The most pressing need that Raptr Users have at the moment is some way to upload that data correctly into either Razer Cortex or Overwolf. This is not currently supported in Razer Cortex or Overwolf. I have also started to to investigate the following site: https://rawg.io/raptr I am able to upload some of my Raptr game information to that site but the game time played is not currently imported correctly. I have already contacted Overwolf Support about this issue and I have sent them my Raptr my_playtime.json file. If https://rawg.io/ manage to fix the import and tracking of Raptr Gameplay Data is there any way Overwolf could produce an app to at least interface to their site? Thank you.
  2. Insecure Password Reset Page for Overwolf App.

No problem. I have been looking into various alternatives to Raptr (AMD Gaming Evolved) in the past week and if I find anything I report it to forums. The Raptr (AMD Gaming Evolved) Rewards Points System is closing down on 4 May 2017 following 1~ month notice. No / little information has been given to the Raptr (AMD Gaming Evolved) Community regarding the future of the Raptr (AMD Gaming Evolved) Application. Users do not know for sure if they completely loose their points or can keep them for a future program or whatever. A number of people on the Raptr Forum have a large number of points saved, in hope of earning a GPU. They have been saving points for years. There is obvious disappointment and frustration on the Raptr Forums about this at the moment. I do not think there have been any new game detection files for around 7 months and AMD pulled out of the AMD Gaming Evolved program at the end of last year, following the AMD Crimson ReLive release. Many Raptr(AMD Gaming Evolved) Users did not realise this as it did not seem to be widely publicised. I do not think that the Game Optimization technology has been worked on much since around the time of "Tom Clancy's The Division" was released. It does work for me on various AMD different cards I have tested. There are some good features about the Raptr App besides the Rewards Program, and the Game Optimization feature. Game "optimization settings" is now handled within some games now anyhow. The Raptr Community Interface is nice and game tracking still works. The ability to post Videos/Snapshots/Chat interface is good compared to others I have seen so far. Some people prefer to work within one App, rather than logging into a web page online. Raptr (AMD Gaming Evolved) also comes with Plays.TV. integration and optional Plays.TV Installation. I have been a Plays.TV user for years. I have been working on a comparison of Plays.TV versus AMD Crimson ReLive and I have had some crossfire and stability bugs fixed in Plays.TV over past weeks. Plays.TV v1.22.1 build is now working pretty great for me and it also has some nice features. At present I have looked at RazerCortex, Overwolf, Rapr(Intel Version), Twitch Desktop App, Curse, Evolve, and PlayClaw 5 Plus. I have requested Evolve 2.0 Beta Access but no joy yet. They are all different, and each have their strong points but none seem to offer a combination of everything needed at present. Cheers.
  3. Insecure Password Reset Page for Overwolf App.

Hi, In Mozilla Firefox for example, I see the image attached. I think both Google Chrome and Mozilla have been upgraded recently to warn of insecure password reset entry. Raptr have a similar problem.
  4. Hi, I just had to reset my password for Overwolf App. My Browser tells me the Overwolf Password Reset page is insecure ... It should be https I think, but it is not. I tried adding https:// but no joy. Ideas anyone? Thanks.
