Code of Conduct - Rules you should read   02/25/2017

      In General
Be respectful! There's another person on the other end of that conversation! The forums are a place to discuss anything related to Overwolf and beyond but want this to be a place where people feel comfortable to participate and have fun! Keep it on topic, keep it constructive - Threads should be constructive and have a clear topic. Replies to that topic should be relevant. Bumping a thread without adding relevant information is not considered constructive. Bumping a thread from a long time ago is also not constructive (Overwolf updates every 2 weeks, things change). Attacks or Accusations are not acceptable - Attacking another person is unacceptable, the circumstances are irrelevant, just don't do it. Read the topic - Know what people are talking about in the thread. Stick to the given topic and don't derail it. Search - We have a great search function, use it before you post a new thread as it's possible someone has asked your question before and there's info on it. Don't see something about your question or topic after searching? Post it! (keep in mind that bumping threads from a long time ago is not recommended, post your own). Don't post about locked or deleted topics; they were deleted for a reason. No petitions, demands or "When will.." We have places for asking for games, features and we will tell you when something is coming. We don't give dates for a reason. Don't try getting around the swear filter, it's not cute or funny. This is not a place to break NDA's, talk about something illegal or break any law from any country. We will contact the necessary parties involved and you will be pursued to the extent of the law. No spam. You will be banned and your post deleted. Please write in English. This is an international forum and we'd like everyone to be able to participate.
Bad Behavior Insults, racial slurs, profanity, vulgarity. Trolling - You know who you are, and we will find you. Nudity, porn or anything obscene. Flaming - We don't have a trained fireman on staff, so don't do it. No advertising - No one wants to buy that shirt off of you, or that WoW gold. No insulting any religion (fake, real, or imagined), sexual orientation, gender or culture. No talking about drugs or performing illegal activities. Impersonation - Don't do it, people find out and you end up looking stupid.
What will we do if you break a rule? Warnings - You get only one. Thread/Post deletion - We delete your thread/post from the forums. Suspension - Temporary forum ban. Account termination - Permanent forum ban. Legal action or report violations to the appropriate legal authorities.

  2. Hello Survivors! I want to share with you a little adjustment i make for ZAM Search in DayZ Standalone. Description: I've just test it out ZAM Search (Ctrl+Z) on DayZ Standalone, but... But ZAM Search searching on DayZDB that is really poor of contents. So with a little bit of knowledge of Notepad++ and Gimp i have modified the ZAM Search code (just 3 lines) to make ZAM, search in dayz.gamepedia.com I choose this site because has a lot of contents, but you can change it with any site you want. (Read on Dev section at the bottom for more info). Gimp are used for making appropiate icon in search box, saved from dayz.gamepedia.com logo and adjusted a little bit. Important for backup! When you modify files, config files etc, you always make a backup of what you are overwriting, so for your convenience i post another .rar (ORIGINAL_DATA_JS.rar) to restore the original file i've modified, to know where put this file read below, keep in mind data.js stay inside (Files/js/data.js) - I've tested the fix on my machine and it work! How to Install: Close Overwolf Download the .rar archive on this post. (ZAM_SEARCH_DAYZSA_FIX.rar) Unrar where you want Copy the two folders ( images, js ) Paste the two folders and say YES to overwrite anything in: \AppData\Local\Overwolf\Extensions\meeknmodndemnpipadaklkjmcadkkblgdenafmbh\1.0.12\Files Warning, after Extension Folder, there is a long name, this is the ZAM Search APP ID, i don't know if it change on other machines, if you don't find this name on your Extensions folder, you can go into Overwolf Settings > Support > Development Options > And look for ZAM Search UID, that is your ZAM APP ID, and is the same name on Extensions folder. To go in Appdata just hit on your keyboard Win+R , type %appdata%, press Enter, go one level up, and go in Local instead of Roaming folder. Run Overwolf Done! Dev: Modified file is: data.js Lines: 27,28,29 Added .png is: images/sites-icons/dayzwiki_icon.png (related to line 27 on data.js) If you look at my modification, it's quite simple, line 27 name of site, line 28 home url of site, line 29 search query of the site. Every wiki site has a search box, just type a random thing like 1234 on search box, then look for url give to you on your browser like www.anygamewiki.com/index.php?search=1234, now you can use this URL (Query) to put in line 29 (obviously you need to delete 1234 from URL). With this method you can use any site you want to tell ZAM Search to point to this site for it's research. As you can see ZAM put the text you type in search box after the query url (like 1234) and redirect to you in browser page (OW Browser). So... Hope you enjoy this little fix, and have understand how to modify data.js to make your own "fix" and put any site you want for ZAM Search. Cheers! TEKRULEZ ZAM_SEARCH_DAYZSA_FIX.rar ORIGINAL_DATA_JS.rar
  3. This is a relatively simple fix for now. Not sure if a permanent solution will be made, but this is the easiest way to get Overwolf to work with NVSE. Steps Go to your notification area. Right click on Overwolf and click on "Exit Overwolf". Run NVSE (either through Steam, or using the executable file). Switch to your desktop (Alt+Tab). Open Overwolf. Switch back to Fallout New Vegas. After about 10 or so seconds, the Overwolf UI will appear, along with the FPS counter (if enabled). A more permanent solution to this (if developers view this and listen) would be to delay the UI from trying to attach to the game. If they cannot make it delayed until a the game has loaded a saved game, then giving about a minute time delay could potentially fix this.
