Code of Conduct - Rules you should read   02/25/2017

      In General
Be respectful! There's another person on the other end of that conversation! The forums are a place to discuss anything related to Overwolf and beyond but want this to be a place where people feel comfortable to participate and have fun! Keep it on topic, keep it constructive - Threads should be constructive and have a clear topic. Replies to that topic should be relevant. Bumping a thread without adding relevant information is not considered constructive. Bumping a thread from a long time ago is also not constructive (Overwolf updates every 2 weeks, things change). Attacks or Accusations are not acceptable - Attacking another person is unacceptable, the circumstances are irrelevant, just don't do it. Read the topic - Know what people are talking about in the thread. Stick to the given topic and don't derail it. Search - We have a great search function, use it before you post a new thread as it's possible someone has asked your question before and there's info on it. Don't see something about your question or topic after searching? Post it! (keep in mind that bumping threads from a long time ago is not recommended, post your own). Don't post about locked or deleted topics; they were deleted for a reason. No petitions, demands or "When will.." We have places for asking for games, features and we will tell you when something is coming. We don't give dates for a reason. Don't try getting around the swear filter, it's not cute or funny. This is not a place to break NDA's, talk about something illegal or break any law from any country. We will contact the necessary parties involved and you will be pursued to the extent of the law. No spam. You will be banned and your post deleted. Please write in English. This is an international forum and we'd like everyone to be able to participate.
Bad Behavior Insults, racial slurs, profanity, vulgarity. Trolling - You know who you are, and we will find you. Nudity, porn or anything obscene. Flaming - We don't have a trained fireman on staff, so don't do it. No advertising - No one wants to buy that shirt off of you, or that WoW gold. No insulting any religion (fake, real, or imagined), sexual orientation, gender or culture. No talking about drugs or performing illegal activities. Impersonation - Don't do it, people find out and you end up looking stupid.
What will we do if you break a rule? Warnings - You get only one. Thread/Post deletion - We delete your thread/post from the forums. Suspension - Temporary forum ban. Account termination - Permanent forum ban. Legal action or report violations to the appropriate legal authorities.

  4. Hi all! Recently I noticed that the notification texts of each of the TS skins is hard to read on a white background. Since I want that for Overwatch, I decided to create a simple skin extension in the Overwatch look with a dark background for notifications. So far so good. This is what I did: Copy the content of the directory "User\AppData\Local\Overwolf\Extensions\naegiaepjlllhcifhofkbpecfbongejimehomedk\" (this is the "WoW (go jenkins!)" skin) to "User\Overwolf\OverwatchTsSkin\" Adjust the manifest.json. I adjusted the following properties: meta.name meta.author meta.description Replace the "thumbnail.jpg" by another image with the same size and file type Open the settings of Overwolf Click on "Support" Click on "Development Options" Click on "Load unpacked extension..." Select the OverwatchTsSkin directory Restart Overwolf Open the dock in-game Open the TS app in-game Click on "GET SKINS" in-game Look for my thumbnail.jpg in the list of skins Notice, that it is not there What should I do in order to be able to create a new TSSkin-extension? I attached the OverwatchTsSkin directory so that you can reproduce my problem. Regards, Finanzkrise OverwatchTsSkin.zip

  6. Planetside 2 Skin

Hey! I made one for Planetside 2. Had lots of fun modifying the skin starter pack. Audio's very quiet on purpose. The real version looks better than this .gif, don't worry. Now to skin the ts3 overlay... But I don't think it's going to be as easy as this one. Anyone have experience with that? https://mega.nz/#!FN0zkBJB!86AtZVccZkyLqSw6PPrcW7_lndqNsLFr818hwhi5NTA or https://www.dropbox.com/s/rf19hzezt1qc6j8/Planetside_Overwolf_Skin.zip?dl=0 Unpack the included folder named "Planetside 2" onto your hard drive, doesn't matter where. Open the settings window by clicking on the "Wrench" icon on the dock. - Go to the "Support" tab and click on the "Development options" link. The "Packages" page should open. - In the "Packages" page, click on the "Load unpacked extension" button at the top of the page. The folder browser window should open. - Browse to the folder where you unpacked the folder named "Planetside 2", and click OK. - The "Planetside 2" skin should now appear in the packages window. To load it, click on the "Launch" button that appears to its right.
  7. WildStar Overwolf Skin

The skin is finally complete! By complete, I mean to the point that I'm happy with. I may alter the first animation/regular dock in the future, but for now, everyone can *hopefully* enjoy the skin! View the video below to hear the sound effects. The Skin in the video is the 1.0 version. Current version uses same sound effects, but skin from above gif. I finally tackled this skin because the game went Free To Play. If you haven't checked it out yet, now is a good time. From what I've heard, and from my own personal opinion, the servers have calmed down a bit, so the lag from the influx of new players shouldn't be there any more. Definitely a good time to try the game out, as well as try this Overwolf Skin out!! Download links: Install Instructions: OPK Installation: RAR Installation: Change Log:
  8. I'll update this to look like my other posts(ie; showing it off, proper formatting of the post, etc) when its complete, or just make another post completely(for clean comment section lol). Just wanted to get some feedback/bounce ideas off people. So, the idea came to me a little while ago. With the game going to F2P, I wanted to make the skin - but didn't really have an idea as to where to start. I ended up a couple nights ago finally attempting to tackle it. This is what I've got so far(this post will be updated as I progress): Currently, its just a bit of animation. The idea for the animation was basically a flickering screen turning on - but with the colour scheme from one of the games logo's I found in a google search lol. The colour for it came from this image: I was considering trying to grab an image out of the program that the WildStar mods are made with for the expanded dock part. It's doable I think. Probably a bit tricky, but doable. But that's as far as I've gotten with ideas at the moment. lol. So, if anyone has any suggestions feel free to shoot them out.
  9. Animated cursors

Are animated cursors supported by overwolf skins yet, if so what formats are supported, if not will you please consider adding them =) thanks for all the work so far. I'm really enjoying working on my first skin so far. I have awesome ideas for animated versions of the cursors I've made
  10. Skin Sounds

Hello Dudes and Dudinas, can I disable or control the volume of the new skins? I installed the Dragon Skin (Guild wars) and it make Sounds, but its too loud for me. And I would like to disable the sound complete, but at the Apps I see only a button for "uninstall". So I hope you can help me with my request. Kind Regards Der Overwolf Roooar (wait...you removed the overwolf smilies from the old Forums?) Grrr
  11. Crescent is a minimal skin for Overwolf with two consecutively less minimal variations. Project moved to GitHub 06/05/2017
  12. Experimenting

I'm experimenting with the new skin stuff, this I made in half an hour, it's not something special or I've been planning to use/release, it's just messing around a bit, maybe I'll make a themed skin someday. Also, if you have an idea of what, please do tell I'm not creative if you're speaking about ideas. Might be doing a BF3 one though, as it's my most played game.
  13. Hey all! So recently the experimental custom skins update came through, and I was SO EXCITED about this that instead of spending many hours gaming, I spent them making this skin (for myself). Since it's a fresh update, I thought I may as well share this as a first contribution of sorts! It's also the first skin I've ever made, let alone animated, so I hope you enjoy it as much as I do! It was a bit tricky not having the documentation that's yet to be published, particularly with animating, so apologies for the blazing fast animations - no idea how to control this! Screenshots: Docked Opened Expanded You can download it here Thanks overwolf, for this awesome feature! P.S. Do I post feedback about this in the announcement thread, or through the /feedback button on the overwolf app?
