Overwolf version 0.78.34 released!

So I'm still having trouble with Planetside 2. Ever since I used that temporary fix for it by removing the game list and adding the new gamelist with the update planetside 2 name. It has not update/added a new game list since.

Edit: Deleted and exited out, then started it up again so it works now. Thanks!

Reguarding Wildstar being finally considered supported, is it really necessary to still disable aero when in the game?

edit: After some testing, seems like you dont have to disable aero on dx11, seems to be running fine now, even with it enabled :)

So if you play Wildstar, you can remove this line entirely from the gamelist file!

  <DisableAeroOnDX11>True</DisableAeroOnDX11>

Hi Dajova,

The aero effect may cause performance issues in Overwolf when playing DirectX 11 games.

On lower spec machines this might be more noticeable.

Feel free to disable the aero line but some users might need it

is overwolf finally working with planetside 2 and windows 8.1?

Hey there!

It should work. What version of Planetside 2? Both the 64 and 32 bit should work for you on Windows 8.1.

The wording on the Supported Games is a little confusing so we're going to reword that as we support the game on Windows 8.1 but not on Windows 8.

You can disable both channel and private messages through checkboxes in the settings (Settings -> Notifications).

Also, the newest Overwolf version (which should be released this week) features notification stacking, which will make the queue of notifications breeze through a lot faster, in case you do want them to show.
